Who is Manfred Evertz?

• Born in Duisburg (Germany), living in Brevik ( Norway).
• He graduated at the Folkwang High School for Art and design in Essen (Germany).
• He has held several individual and group exhibitions in Germany (Galerie Lembrukmuseum in Duisburg, Art Center – Berlin) and since 1979 in Norway (International Expo “Glokal” in Oslo, Art Center in Skien, Ibsenhuset in Skien, Telemark). In both countries he was involved in “works of art in progess”.
• He studied Art education and is working since 1989 as an Art Teacher. Course and seminar work.
• Collaboration with Norvegian and German publishers among others with Bastei/Lübbe, Goldmann and Heyne.
• Experimented in painting, object art and installations, as well as in multimedial area. His interests concern social and interpersonal problems, which he reflects in his works of art.
• For a long time he is working in team with poets and authors of lyrics, and also with filmmakers and composers to ladle out the multimedia capabilities of his work.
• His works of art are be found in numerous art collections and were published many times over at the international level.
